Puri, one of the revered Char Dham pilgrimage sites, is home to the world-famous Jagannath Temple, attracting millions of devotees and tourists throughout the year. The annual Ratha Yatra is the most significant festival, celebrated with great fervor and witnessed by people from across the globe.
Located on the scenic Bay of Bengal, Puri is also famous for its pristine beaches and spiritual landmarks like Gundicha Temple, Ramachandi Temple, Vimala Temple, Bedi Hanuman Temple, and more.
Jagannath Temple (Srimandir), situated around 60 km from Bhubaneswar, is an architectural and cultural marvel. It houses one of the largest temple kitchens in the world and hosts 24 festivals annually, with Chandan Yatra, Snana Yatra, and Nabakalebara being major attractions.
Mahodadhi (Puri Beach) offers a perfect blend of spirituality and leisure, with mesmerizing sunrises, sand art, water sports, beach festivals, and cultural performances. The beach is just 2 km from the railway station and a few minutes’ drive from the temple.
Tour Itinerary
Arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station in the morning. Meet our representative and proceed to Puri, en route visiting:

- Pipli Appliqué Village
- Shakshigopal Temple
- Raghurajpur Heritage Crafts Village (14 km)
Check in to hotel in Puri. In the evening, visit the sacred Jagannath Temple. Overnight stay in Puri.
Start your day early with sunrise at Puri Beach and enjoy the morning atmosphere. Proceed to:
- Narendra Pokhari
- Chilika Lake (Satapada) – Cruise to the sea mouth, spot Irawaddy Dolphins, visit Rajhans Island
- Visit Alarnath Temple on the way back
Evening free for shopping at Puri Beach Market. Overnight stay in Puri.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel by 8:00 AM and proceed to:
- Ramchandi Sea Beach
- Chandrabhaga Beach
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Konark Sun Temple (also known as the Black Pagoda).
Continue drive to Bhubaneswar. Check in to hotel.
Evening visit to Ekamra Haat for traditional crafts and souvenirs.
